DAISY AIRGUN MUSEUM & GIFT SHOP
202 West Walnut
479-986-6873 / www.daisymuseum.com

Welcome to the Daisy Airgun Museum. Since 1960, Daisy’s corporate offices in Rogers, Arkansas have housed an impressive airgun collection. In 1999, the company decided to utilize that collection to create a first class and entertaining museum which would serve as a tourism attraction for our city.

In March, 2000, the refurbished, expanded museum opened its doors. Our “new” location is anything but new. In fact the building dates back to 1896 and is best known to local residents as the old Rexal Drug Store and Soda Fountain. Now it’s home to an impressive collection of antique Daisy airgun and advertising memorabilia.

Gun and history enthusiasts come to see the collection of antique airguns dating to the 1600s. Daisy collectors come to walk through the company’s timeline, view old packaging and advertising. Baby boomers come to see an example of the first Daisy made and to see and talk about the one they had as a youngster. Shoppers come to see the complete line of current Daisy products and take something home from the gift shop. And they come to see the unique collectibles which are exclusively available through the Daisy Airgun Museum.

They invested seventy-five thousand dollars and with the vision of A. O. Clarke, established a showplace not only for entertainment, but more importantly a place that people would be drawn to for decades. War Eagle Cavern, one of nature's true wonders, opened to the public in 1978. This is one of the newest show caverns in the country. The real story started about 250 million years ago, give or take a million. In the unspoiled forest of the Ozark Mountains, its secluded site was used by the Indians hundreds of years before the first settlers came to the area. Every effort has been made to leave the cavern in its natural state, from the spectacular natural entrance to the underground stream. Courteous, informative guides conduct each tour with a "personal touch." Visitors will find the tour inside the cavern both educational and enjoyable.

After exploring our wondrous cavern and underground marvels, take an exhilirating hike on our nature paths, pan for treasure at the War Eagle Mining Co., lose yourself in the Lost in the Woods Maze, enjoy drinks and snacks at the trading post, shop at the area's most unique shop, or stay with us in our secluded lodge. WAR EAGLE MILL

Floating down the War Eagle River in Northwest Arkansas in 1832, the first white visitors - 2 bear hunters - discovered the spot where the War Eagle Mill sits today. Now, as the weathered three-story structure comes into view, the smell of freshly ground cornmeal still forms an unending link to our past.

The splash of an 18-foot waterwheel adds to the melody of the river. Inside, the mill stones grind cornmeal daily from organically grown grain. Cornmeal, flours, Buckwheat, meals, and whole grain products line the shelves perched upright in old-fashioned calico cloth bags. Fish fry cornmeal recipe, Jellies, jams honey, sorghum, seasonings, natural flour and cook books are for sale. Healthy food and whole grain foods for sale.

The War Eagle Mercantile is a gift shop with old fashioned graniteware dishes, kitchen items, wearing apparel, souvenirs, toys, handmade knives and hundred's of other items. The Bean Palace Restaurant sits atop the third floor of the mill serving breakfast and lunch.
