Fall is a wonderful time to hike and explore the nature around you, it is also one of the best times to visit the TCWR and see our animals. Join us at Turpentine Creek Wildlife to make your very own hiking stick.

The workshop begins at 9:30 with the selection of the “perfect” stick. Throughout the morning you will be shaving and decorating with a wide variety of embellishments: beads, wood burners, paint, and feathers.

After you finish working on your hiking sticks, we will go on a guided tour to see the animals that call the Refuge home.

Cost for the workshop is $40 per person, pre-registration and payment is required. The workshop cost will cover admission into the refuge as well.

Limit: 15
