Pinnacle Area of Rogers Envisions Massive Increase in Development

Northwest Arkansas continues to grow at a record pace, and Rogers is no exception. Throughout our thriving community, there are projects and businesses popping up, including new office buildings and restaurants. In fact, there is currently $300 million of planned development in the Pinnacle area alone.

Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall features 100 shops and 15 restaurants. Dave and Buster’s recently opened, adding a great group entertainment option. Eateries such as Big Orange and Midici Pizza have added to the area’s culinary experience, while regional favorite, Local Lime, is expected to open soon. A Courtyard by Marriott is expected to open nearby in 2019.

Our premier meeting and conference center, Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas, offers meeting space for groups of all sizes, from 15 people or 4,000. Each spacious two-room suite features a private bedroom and living room equipped with two HDTVs, a coffeemaker, internet access, a refrigerator, microwave and sofa bed.

There is no shortage of entertainment, including concerts and live music. You can catch a show at the Walmart AMP which has headlined artists from around the globe. This state-of-the-art facility is perfect for company outings and events and fits about 10,000.

To accommodate with the boom in residents moving to Rogers, there is a $100 million development on 16 acres of land for a high-end multi-family apartment. Pinnacle Heights will mix 296 units with 26,000 square feet of retail amenities on the bottom floor.

In what will surely be a top entertainment destination, TopGolf will open in 2019. Groups will be able to hold a 21st century golf tournament or private event within walking distance of the Embassy. TopGolf also features an accomplished Executive Chef and chef-driven menu with a fresh twist on American classics, local specialties and brews, plus unexpected new creations.

As development in the Pinnacle area continues, it strives to offer the resources of a big city without the downside, with walkability being a major emphasis to make visiting much more enjoyable.

"People want to live, work and play where they are in a walkable area and walkability will be a major factor," said Steve Cox, SVP of Economic Development for the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce.

We already have countless dining options, entertainment, luxurious lodging, and extensive meeting space just minutes away from each other. More announcements are sure to be in-store for the area, which will only make it an even more attractive package for groups meeting in Rogers.
