Rogers Advertising and Promotion Commission
Effective September 1, 2017, the City of Rogers levies a 3% hotel tax upon the gross receipts or gross proceeds from renting, leasing or otherwise furnishing of hotel, motel or short term condominium rental accommodations for sleeping, meeting or party room facilities for profit within the city, not to include the rental or lease of such accommodations for periods of thirty days or more.

Vacation Home Rentals
Visit Rogers and the Rogers Advertising & Promotion Commission (A&P) monitor and collect a 3% lodging tax on all short-term rental (STR) properties within the city limits of Rogers. We have contracted with a third-party vendor to make this and all lodging tax collections and compliance processes as easy and smooth as possible. For more information, click here.
ORD. #99-61 (passed 9/28/99) – 7 members: 4 members shall be owners or managers in the tourism industry, at least 3 of whom shall be owners or managers of hotel or motels and all of whom shall be Benton County residents; 2 members shall be members of the Rogers City Council; and 1 member shall be from the public at large. 4 year staggered terms.

Applications are currently being accepted for a hospitality/tourism position on the Rogers Advertising and Promotions Commission. This position expires November 1, 2023. Individuals must be an owner or manager of businesses in the tourism industry and a resident of Benton County. Letters of application and resumes may be mailed by May 21, 2023 to J. R. Shaw, Destination Rogers, 317 W. Walnut, Rogers 72756 and may also be emailed to jr@rogerslowell.com. The commission will consider the selection of a new member at their June 14, 2023 meeting. The appointment must be approved by the Rogers City Council.
