What is Ozark Beer Company?

Ozark Beer Company was the first local craft beer brewery in Rogers, thanks to the fine people who voted to make Benton County a wet county in 2012. The brewery and tasting room is located in the downtown area at Arkansas and Chesnut. The new tasting and tap room is a large industrial space filled with mis-matched tables and a garage door that is kept open on nice days making it a great place to hang out with friends. You can sample beer while just through the door huge stainless steel tanks hold the next batch of fermenting brew. Music fills the air while visitors talk, play cards, and enjoy a pint of their favorite brew.

Drinking Ozark Beer

Even if you have not had a chance to visit the brewery yet, you have probably noticed their beer at your favorite watering hole. You can find Ozark Beer on tap in over 100 bars, restaurants, and stores around Northwest Arkansas. Here’s an overview of what’s currently on tap in their tasting room.

American Pale Ale – 4.3% ABV

Beer: A light bodied session beer brewed with rye for a dry finish. Notes of grapefruit and fresh-cut grass.
Bitterness: Medium/Clean
Suggested Pairings: Burgers, Chicken, Blackened/Fried Fish, Salads, Cheddar Cheese

India Pale Ale – 6.3% ABV

Beer: A classic American style IPA. Notes of pineapple, mango, and pine. All hops were sourced from the Pacific Northwest.
Bitterness: High/Clean
Suggested Pairings: Spicy Foods, Blue/Gorgonzola Cheese, Carrot Cake

IPA Rotators

Beer: Different IPA’s tapped throughout the year.
Availability: Draught and cans (depending on beer)

Cream Stout – 5.3% ABV

Beer: A perfect year-round stout. Full bodied and accessible. Notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and caramel with a roasty finish.
Bitterness: Low
Suggested Pairings: Ribs, Barbecue, Cured Meats, Chocolate Cake, Vanilla, Dried Fruit

Onyx Coffee Stout – 5.3% ABV

Beer: A collaboration with Onyx Coffee Labs. Milk stout featuring French Roasted, cold extracted Monarch blend from our neighbors and U.S. Coffee Roasting Champions, Onyx Coffee Labs.
Availability: Draught only

Ozark Lager – 5.0% ABV

Beer: A classic German style lager with a fresh take on hundreds of years of brewing tradition. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.
Bitterness: Low
Suggested Pairings:  Spring Storms, Summer Heat, Crisp Fall Mornings, Cold Winter Nights

Visiting Ozark Beer Co.

Ozark Beer Company is located at 109 N. Arkansas in downtown Rogers. Growler fills, tastings, and pints are available 7 days a week, and be sure to ask if a tour of the facility is available. Tasting room hours are Monday through Wednesday 1pm to 7pm, Thursday through Saturday 11am to 9pm, and Sunday 11am to 7pm.

Other Places to Grab a Pint in Rogers

There are a few places in the downtown area that focus on craft beers and have several on tap. If you are looking to grab a pint of Ozark or even try out other Northwest Arkansas craft beers, then head to The Rail Pizza Company or Club Frisco. The Rail has some of the best pizza around and a great patio so you can enjoy the upcoming spring weather. Club Frisco is for the late-night crowd, opening at 4pm during the week and 5pm on Saturday, which means you can head over there after the tasting room at Ozark closes for the evening at 7pm.
