New Dining Spots Near the Convention Center

A leisurely walk or a short drive away, there are plenty of new and soon-to-open restaurant hot-spots to try while you meet at the Embassy Suites and Rogers Convention Center.

Embassy Suites and the Rogers Conventin Center, formerly the John Q. Hammons Convention Center, is located in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers right next to the Walmart AMP, an outdoor concert venue, and Topgolf, which has recently opened. After a long day in meetings or attending a tradeshow, we invite you to get out and explore Rogers. Start your evening off with trying one of the new, or soon to open restaurants below just a quick walk or short drive away from the convention center.

Torchy's Tacos

One of the newest restaurants to open in Rogers, Torchy's Tacos, based in Austin, Texas is less than a mile from the convention center. Known for their cheese dip, tacos, and margaritas, Torchy's focus is using the finest ingredients for their menu. Torchy's also serves breakfast and has a gluten conscious menu for those with allergies. Do not forget to save room for dessert with a made from scratch brownie or the Lil' Nookies, fried chocolate chip cookie dough dusted with powdered sugar and topped with cherries!


Saltgrass Steakhouse

Saltgrass Steakhouse is located within walking distance to the convention center and right across from Topgolf. Saltgrass aims to capture the flavors of cooking over an open campfire. Their pledge is to "Honor the old legends, while making a little history of their own". Menu items include appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, surf & turf, seafood options, sirloin, filet, ribs, and more. The menu boasts over 9 options for side dishes to choose from. Saltgrass loves to host large parties and groups. The menu can be customized for any occassion.

Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar

Located next door to Saltgrass Steakhouse and across from Topgolf is Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar. Starting every dish from scratch and using fresh ingredients, Walk-On's will bring us Cajun cuisine to Rogers, Arkansas. Walk-On's is good for any occassion, date night, dinner with the family, a night out to catch the big game, or cocktails with collegues. There is truly something for every taste at Walk-On's. From gumbo to seafood platters and sandwhiches to grilled cheeses and wraps, you will leave wanting to come back and try something different on your next visit. Known for their famous dessert, Krispy KremeĀ® Bread Pudding, it is made with real Krispy KremeĀ® donuts and served with vanilla ice cream.

Bean and Vine

Locally owned and operated, Bean and Vine is located right across the street from the convention center. Grab a group and walk to a nice dinner where they feature over 50 wines, wine flights, locally roasted coffee, and house made desserts. The menu is quaint with just a few small plate and entree options. Choose from seaside scallops, maple leaf duck breast, pasta bolognese, short rib, soup du jour, and more. Staying through the weekend? Bean and Vine has a great brunch menu with all of the popular options and mimosas.
