Lazy River!
The whirlpool is a fun side feature that sucks you in to a small pool area and keeps you going in circles until you decide it is time to get back to being lazy on the river. Just when you think you are about to get out of this swirling pool, you get sucked right back in. There are inner tubes along the river and several entrance points with lifeguards to make sure you get on and off your tube safely. You can also free float and swim in the current if you are up for the challenge!
Slides, Slides, Slides!
For the bigger kids and kids at heart, there are super awesome slides at the park. A covered tube, half-covered tube, the "toilet bowl" that swirls you around until you are "flushed" out the bottom and two race slides. Plus, each slide and water feature lights up at night for a really cool show. You must be 48" to use the slides. Serious adult and kid fun to be had here.
Lap Pool and Open Swim
Away from the hustle and bustle of the park is the lap pool and open swim area, complete with diving boards and more basketball goals for water basketball games. Fitness and lap swimmers can get a monthly membership card for $35. Lap hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. only. Small swim meets are held here throughout the summer.
Food and Party Rentals
All this activity works up an appetite. Outside food amd drinks are not allowed, which is okay because you will find everything you need at Wet Willy's Kitchen. Ice cream, pizza, hot dogs and much more! Have a summer birthday you are planning for or maybe a corporate retreat? No problem! The park has four pavilions that can be booked for parties and other gatherings. Who says adults cannot have fun too?
