25 Things to Do in Rogers #9: Frisco Festival

The annual Frisco Festival is held in August each year.  The fun kicks off Friday at 5pm and then continues from sun up until after sun down on Saturday. This huge street party celebrates the town's rich railroad heritage features live music, carnival rides, delicious food, a beer garden, arts and crafts vendors, and much more.  There's something for everyone over the two-day period.

Festival Food & Entertainment Garden

Let's start with most people's favorite part of any festival - the food!  You can get just about anything you can imagine on a stick or battered and deep fried at a festival, and this one is no exception.  Be on the lookout for fresh squeezed lemonade to quench your thrist and stay hydrated.  If you are 21 or older and need to wash down all that food, be on the lookout for the beer garden.  It is located right by the Frisco stage on First Street, so you won't miss out on any of the live entertainment.

Kid Zone

Younger kids can have fun in the Kid's Zone where age appropriate rides and games will keep them busy for as long as you wish. The Kid's Zone is located just off Walnut on 2nd Street.
