Why Chose Rogers

For Your Events

Northwest Arkansas adds more than 36 residents per day and includes the fastest-growing county in the state, Benton County. A key contributor to the growth is those relocating here from out of state. Our large corporations and their suppliers have driven much of the growth.

However, the increased population working at or in relation to one of the “Big Three” (Walmart, Tyson Foods, and JB Hunt Transport) has also created more jobs for educators, first responders, medical providers, and a variety of basic service businesses. This offers Arkansas Associations fertile ground for new member recruitment across a variety of different industries.

With the ever-growing population, there are constantly new projects and businesses popping up, including new office buildings, entertainment, shopping, and restaurants. In fact, there is currently hundreds of millions of planned development in the Pinnacle area that surrounds our premier meeting facility: The Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas & Rogers Convention Center.

A top entertainment destination, Topgolf opened in 2020. Allowing groups to hold a 21st century golf tournament or private event within walking distance of the Embassy. Topgolf also features an accomplished Executive Chef and chef-driven menu with a fresh twist on American classics, local specialties and brews, plus unexpected new creations.

Attendees have 65+ restaurant options within 1.5 miles when the day’s meetings end at the Embassy Suites. Saltgrass Steakhouse, Wellington’s, Torchy’s Tacos, and Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar have recently opened within walking distance to the Embassy. The nearby Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall features over 100 shops and restaurants. A pedestrian-friendly bypass behind the Embassy Suites allows attendees to easily walk to the Promenade.

Rogers’ premier entertainment option is the Walmart AMP which has headlined artists from around the globe. This state-of-the-art facility is perfect for company outings and events and holds 11,000 patrons. They recently underwent a $13.9 million expansion of the facility including the Choctaw Plaza that provides the opportunity for groups to host smaller events.

As development in the Pinnacle area continues, it strives to offer the resources of a big city without the downside. “People want to live, work and play where they are in a walkable area and walkability will be a major factor,” said Steve Cox, SVP of Economic Development for the Rogers Lowell Chamber.

Flying in speakers to Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) has never been easier as there has been a bevy of flights added. With 20+ direct flights, XNA has the most options in the state of Arkansas.

If safety is a key consideration in your organization selecting a destination, Rogers has the lowest violent and property crime rate amongst cities that have a convention facility with more than 30,000 square feet of meeting space in the state.
