The Rogers Historical Museum is excited to announce a new exhibit, “Coach Blackie Bond: Rogers High School Football Legend”, on show June 5 through September 25 at the Hailey Building Collections Gallery. This biographical exhibit features a sizable collection of Coach Bond memorabilia, including personal scrapbooks, championship footballs, trophies and sketches, as well as other Rogers High School related objects from the museum’s collections.

Bond moved to Rogers in 1959, taking the job of Rogers High School assistant football coach and social studies teacher. For the next 34 years, he served the RHS athletic department amassing an overall record of 190 games won, 89 games lost, and 5 undefeated seasons. Join us this summer at the Rogers Historical Museum as we showcase the work of a coaching legend.

The Rogers Historical Museum is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4 p.m. and is located at 313 South Second Street, at the corner of Second and Cherry Street in Historic Downtown Rogers. General admission is FREE. For more information, call (479) 621-1154 or visit rogershistoricalmuseum.org.
