In celebration of February being Black History Month, we invite you to view our current temporary exhibit, “Reflections of The Black Experience”, curated by Northwest Arkansas artist Kinya Christian. This exhibit features over 40 artworks by several Arkansas artists that are reflective of the Black experience in American history from the time of slavery to modern-day.Open now through February 27.

Christian will be hosting “Meet the Curator” events at the museum on Saturday, February 6 and Saturday, February 27 from 1pm-4pm. These free events give the public the opportunity to learn more about Christian’s inspirations and artist collaborations that contributed to the development of “Reflections of the Black Experience”.

Throughout the month of February, the Rogers Historical Museum will also be sharing virtual interviews of many of the artists discussing their contribution to this exhibit. These interviews will be available for viewing on the museum’s Facebook and website.

In accordance with the City of Rogers COVID –19 policy, acceptable face coverings are required to be worn and social distancing guidelines followed while visiting the museum.
