Biking

The International Mountain Bicycling Association and Bike Magazine each chose Northwest Arkansas for their big events, and it’s no wonder.

Bike Magazine’s Gear Editor Ryan Palmer says “we selected Northwest Arkansas because the region’s efforts on becoming one of the country’s premier mountain bike destinations are mind-boggling. What’s happening in Northwest Arkansas simply cannot be ignored.”

Lake Atalanta offers 10 miles of hiking trails and off-road mountain biking trails for all skill levels. The new Hobbs State Park Monument Trails complement the existing Hidden Diversity Trail System and raise the level of mountain bike optimized trails in the park. The Railyard Loop trail connects downtown Rogers to the Razorback Regional Greenway, a 37.5-mile, primarily off-road, shared-use trail that extends from south Fayetteville to the city of Bella Vista.
