When the cold moves in, you don’t have to stay inside here in Rogers.  No matter your interest, you will find an activity perfect for you and your family in the great outdoors.  Arkansas is The Natural State, after all.

Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area,

Nestled in the Ozark Mountains, Beaver Lake is a 28,370-acre lake home to an abundance of fish.  The main river channel averages between 60 and 65 feet deep and surrounded by flats that average between 10 and 30 feet deep.  Striper Bass fishing has grown in popularity over the years in Rogers.  With several Striper Bass guides in the area, you can test your skills on Beave Lake with a local expert who knows the ins and outs of the lake.  Daily limit for hybrid stripers and striped bass combined is 6 per day.

Head to War Eagle Mill store and restaurant to get good food and local produce. The War Eagle Creek is quiet and serene spot to fish.  Kayak, canoes, or fishermen, women, and kids are welcome on foot as well.  Take a casual ride afternoon ride in the War Eagle Valley.  For all of the marathon mountain bikers out there, tackle the challenging landscape as you scope out the beauty of the rolling hills.  Hiking is another favorite activity in Rogers.  The War Eagle Valley and Hobbs State Park offer trails for the beginners and those skilled to tackle a challenge.
