World's Largest Daisy BB Gun Installed by Daisy Airgun Museum

Daisy Airgun Museum in Historic Downtown Rogers announced that the World's Largest Daisy BB Gun is now installed.

World's Largest BB Gun

In 2019, The Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum approached the City of Rogers about putting Rogers, Arkansas on the map by commissioning the creation of the World's Largest Daisy BB Gun. Fast forward to January 2021 and the BB gun is now "propped" (fully secured to the building) up on the east side of the museum.

The BB gun was fabricated by Elemoose of Springfield, Missouri who specializes in larger-than-life sculptures for theme parks, retail, and more.

Fun Fact: If you were to make BBs that were to scale of the gun, they would be about the size of a ping pong ball!

Joe Murfin, now retired from Daisy Outdoor and current museum board member, said, "Our museum staff, our Friends of the Daisy Museum, our board:  John Ford, Ray Hobbs, Orin Ribar, Steven Ribar, Jim Sawyer, and I, believe that tourism is big business in Rogers, Arkansas. Thousands of people, for whom a Daisy BB gun was their first BB gun, already come to Rogers to experience the Daisy Airgun Museum. It’s our honor to give them one more big reason to come."

Head to downtown Rogers to get your picture made with the World's Largest Daisy BB Gun! Be sure to tag on social media with the hashtag #rogersrocks.

The Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum

When you enter the museum, you step into an antique-filled maze of airguns, packaging, advertising, and other memorabilia. The airguns are chronologically presented to visitors, defining periods in Daisy history as you travel through the museum. You do not have to be a Daisy collector or airgun enthusiast to appreciate the museum.  Visitors loved to reminisce and find the Daisy they owned as a child and to see how the Daisy BB Gun has evolved through the years. There's even a section of the museum dedicated to the movie A Christmas Story that includes the famous leg lamp!

Before leaving, be sure to browse the museum gift shop where you can find some fun keepsakes. You can fill special commemorative tin cans with BBs or even buy your own Red Ryder.  As a token for visiting the museum, each visitor leaves with their own collector's medallion designed differently for each year.
